BR Conference 2010 is the first three-day annual conference presenting the most up-to-date news on ColdFusion, Flex, AIR, Flash Media Server and LiveCycle, amongst other applications from Flash Platform Adobe.

The Inove Consulting Experts and BR Multimidia, Center Authorized Adobe, will jointly hold a major event involving ColdFusion and RIA in Brazil with great names of national and international community. The event is called the BR Conference 2010 - ColdFusion and RIA Connection, where we have issues involving ColdFusion, Flex, AIR, Flash Media Server, LiveCycle among others. I do not remember an event of this magnitude carried out here.

The new Adobe Cookbooks application is now live

This uber Adobe Cookbook application replaces the individual, product-specific cookbook applications that were previously in place for Flex, AIR and Mobile. The new application will still support those technologies, in addition to a dozen or so additional technologies, all within a single application. For those new to the cookbook applications, they are a searchable repository for community-generated code samples.

The new features include:

Many more products/technologies
Improved navigation and search
Recipe requests - for developers who can't find the code sample they are looking for
Related recipes - that appear in a side bar of all recipe pages
Cookbook Explorer - a visual display of top cookbook recipes and contributors
New contributor recognition features - profile pics, links to blogs, links to community profiles

Adobe Certified Expert Flex 3 with AIR, I am now!

Hi all,

On this last Thursday, 27/08, I made one more proof for the Certification to Adobe and I am the newest Adobe Certified in Flex 3 With AIR.

For those that are thinking about doing the proof I recommend attention to AIR with SQLite, Events and UML, integration with LiveCycle, Web Services, Messaging/Remote besides the Flex naturally.

Then start you preparation reading Adobe Flex 3: Adobe Flex 3: Training from the Source, Programming Flex 3 (O’Reilly), besides Livedocs Flex 3 and AIR and the simulator for AIR exam: http://www.pxldesigns.com/attest

AIR 1.1 now available and Adobe AIR Update Framework

AIR 1.1 has been released.

The big enhancement is support for localized and internationalized applications, the AIR runtime itself now supports multiple languages (Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, and Spanish), as well as support for building internationalized applications (including keyboard input for double-byte languages). There are other API enhancements, too.

Adobe AIR Update Framework beta release on Adobe Labs

This beta release of the update framework for Adobe AIR Applications provides APIs to assist developers in including good update capabilities in their AIR applications.
